OUR PROJECTS
Here is a selection of our projects; please note that this list is not exhaustive and we are always looking for new challenges, from small extensions to the design of entire houses!

KINGSTON
Planning application submitted
This project sits within the beautiful South Downs National Park. The clients were keen to make better use of the stunning views from the property, while also adding a new master bedroom suite to the top floor, as well as a kitchen to the ground floor. Planning constraints are significant on the site, but through optimising the floor plans, it is hoped that the proposed layout will provide a home the clients can enjoy for years to come.

GRAND CRESCENT
Planning application submitted
This project in Rottingdean incorrporates an extension to the rear as well as extensive internal remodelling to improve the flow and functionality of the house. Through a collaborative approach with the client and council, we were able to devise a scheme everyone was comfortable with.

GARDEN COTTAGE
Planning approved 2020, work commencing soon
The existing large detached property was extended several times, which gave rise to several disjointed spaces that have reached the end of their serviceable life. We were appointed by the clients to devise a scheme that would incorporate a new larder, but the scheme developed to combine two smaller kitchen areas into one large light-filled space, as well as providing a utility and larder space. The design is also a contemporary take on the tile hanging and oak cladding, which was inspired by their nearby carport structure (the associated planning approval of which was also a fusion:form project).

DALE VIEW, HOVE
Planning approved 2018, works ongoing
This property is a standard 30s terraced 3 bed house, but from the outset, the intent was to create something contemporary and contrasting to the rear of the property. The angled extension not only optimises the kitchen space, but also creates a very dynamic form for the landscaping scheme. Also incorporated is a new patio space and home office/garden store

UNITY STREET, BRISTOL
Completed 2020
This was the second phase of the Bristol masterplan and incorporates private residential, housing association and over 200 student rooms. We collaborated in the delivery of the interiors primarily (although had input throughout). Our output was through the creation of detailed drawings specifying and setting out the interior fit out to all of the scheme.

PRINT HALL
Completed 2018
This project was a collaboration with Russ Drage Architects to create a large-scale student residential scheme of 267 rooms. We collaborated in the delivery of the interiors primarily (although had input throughout). Our output was through the creation of detailed drawings specifying and setting out the interior fit out to all of the scheme

COTTAGE FARM, YEDDINGHAM
Planning approved 2017, works ongoing
Having designed their office conversion within an existing barn, we were appointed by the same client with a far more challenging project in the form of obtaining planning for the conversion of five existing characterful farm buildings to create six holiday lets. Now stabilised and refurbished, the buildings provide six high-quality short-term holiday "staycation" apartments in the North Yorkshire area

43 HOVA VILLAS, HOVE
Completed 2016
The existing property was a dated basement flat, with a generous rear garden that was overgrown. The flat was given a thorough overhaul including replacing the bathroom, updating the kitchen and adding a new glazed link with doors to the garden; a feature that was sorely missing in the original layout. A colour scheme was then devised that would complement the age of the property while subtly zone the spaces. So as to future proof the property, a large garden office was also created, which again was designed to fit with the material pallette of the main building. This project proves that even a small flat can be adapted and enhanced enormously through some creative solutions. The property was featured in Home Style magazine

THE MERE, MERSTHAM
Planning approved 2014
Our advice was sought on a large arts and crafts detached property to create a reworked living room space and connected orangery space, with stepped access to the garden beyond

THATCHED COTTAGE, RUSPER
Planning approved 2012

BRIGHTON "LIVING WALL" CONCEPT
Design concept 2011
The living wall concept was to be sited on Marine Parade and was entirely devised by fusion:form design as a concept to not only address the under-provision of allotment space in Brighton, but also to beautify and stabilise the deteriorating retaining walls
